March 12, 2006 – 30 people met at the Chamber of Commerce conference room with the purpose of starting a new church in Heber Springs. They asked Brother Grant to help.

March 26, 2006 – Voted in Church Covenant and Statements of Faith.

April 2, 2006 – Charter Member Service – 31 members.

April 5, 2006 – Members unanimously voted Brother Grant to pastor the church.

May 21, 2006 – After lots of pain, moving walls, and elbow grease, the church had the first service at the former location, 710 West Main.

August 27, 2006 – Building Dedication and Deacon Ordination Service of Brother Charlie Coop and Ralph McAdams. BrotherRichard Swain’s deaconship was transferred.

March 18, 2007 – Celebrated 1st anniversary.

August 16, 2007 – Petitioned to join the local branch of the Southern Baptist Convention.

October 15, 2007 – The Little Red River Baptist Association (SBC) accepted Grace Baptist Church’s petition, placing our church under watch-care for a year.

November 13, 2007 – Purchased land on Sunny Meadow Road.

July 16, 2008 – Groundbreaking at new site.

September 22, 2008 – Foundation poured at new site. The pastor placed a King James Bible in the cornerstone.

September 29 – October 3, 2008 – The Hammerheads framed the new church.

October 5, 2008 – The Crusaders gospel quartet performed in the new church shell.

October 20, 2008 – The Little Red River Baptist Association (SBC) officially voted Grace Baptist into membership.

November 9, 2008 – Ordination Service for Brotehr Donny Holland and Brother Everett Mason. Brother Larry Holland’s deaconship was transferred.

March 29, 2009 – First service in new building – 90 attended.

May 10, 2009 – First potluck in new fellowship hall.

July 26, 2009 – Building Dedication at Sunny Meadow.
